It was time for me and my family to take a vacation somewhere far away. This summer I couldn't be stuck in the house, I had to go somewhere . The last day of school our family had an meeting. The meeting was talking about some where we could go this summer. My big brother, Mike, said "New Orleans". My sister Annie said the beach and i said St Petersburg Fla. We never been anywhere like that so we went.
We left the house at 2'oclock on the dot so we can get a early start. I asked my dad how long was the ride and guess what he said. 10 hours! At that moment I knew I wasn't going to make it. While we was driving my mother asked us if we wanted to stop anywhere on our way. We all answerd at the sametime, NO! We really didnt know what was famous to see down in St. Petersburg. So my dad turn on his gps and found us some fun places to go.
The gps pulled up alot of interesting places to go and see but, one stood out to me. The Chinese Room. The place sounded very interesting so we picked that. The Chinese Room was located in this beautiful hotel called The Resort Hotel of Merit.
" Are we almost there yet?" my sister asking listening to her ipod
" Yes we are alomost there you little heathen!" my brother said trying to make her mad
" Hey watch your mouth sir." my mother said with meaning in her voice.
While tiem rolls by my dad tells me that we are getting closer. We had only ten more minutes left. Time goes by for us very slow but finally we made it. We pulled up to the amazing hotel.
" This is the hotel on the gps" I said being the first onto un-fasten my seat bell.
As soon as my father turned off the car I rushed to the building.
" Hey wait for us" my brother said trying to catch up with me.
With so much surprise I go in and see that it is much better on the inside. Running to the check- in desk I asked for a key. Running with the key I go up stairs to check-out the room.
When we got inside and got settled down we headed to the Chinese Room. When we got there it was pretty. I sat there looking at all of the amazing in the room. When my family left I stayed and chilled in the room. It was so peaceful. That was the most amazing trip I ever went on.
