The year 2000
This was the year when I was in the 1st grade at Double Tree Elm. My teacher was this nice lady named Ms. Simmons. I would have to say that that was the best year of my life. In first grade you really didn’t have a lot of work to do. My best friend in first grade was a girl name Marisha. But I loved to call her M.C. She was a very cool and funny girl. We had the best of time together. The teacher never liked us sitting together because was would always talk and laugh. When I go over her house we would always watch our favorite movie "Lion King". The good ole days!

he year 2001
Now we are moving up and I am getting old by the minute. This is the year when I was in 2nd grade. I was still attending the same school but now I had another best friend. His name was Terrance Sanders. That was the hottie of the school and he was my best friend. The thing I could remember most about that year was the music and trend that everybody had. The music back then wasn’t as popular and bumping as now but we listening to it anyways. The song I could most remember was "Survivor" by Destiny’s Child. I knew the dances moves and all of the words.
The year 2002
Well I guess we are moving right down the time line. Now we are in 2002. The year when every young kid thought that they was grown. This was the year when I became a 3rd grader. Well it’s time again to change best friends and teachers. My best friend during this year was a girl named Nigel Coffee. She was such a weird girl but I guess that’s why we became such close friends. The trend that was big in 2002 was the game kickball. During the summer when Nigel and I went to summer camp that’s all we used to play. Kickball back then we like basketball ball now everyone wants to play. It was so easy for me to play because I used to always hide behind the big boys and would always get 2nd place.
The year 2003
Another year in my life and the days I loved as a child. Now we are getting older and wiser. We are in the year of 2003 and yes I do have a new best friend. My best friend now is a girl name Hillary. I have known Hillary ever since I was little but now we were the best of friends. I still don’t know to this day why I had so many best friends that are another day subject. This year was big for me because now I was in the 4th grade. The 4th grade was a year for hard work and a lot of drama. The movie that I loved and watch over and over again was "Radio". That movie won an Oscar and many other awards. But that movie won a place in my heart in 2003.
The year 2004
Well let’s continue going down the time line and see what’s next. Now I moved to a different school and meet many new friends. My 5th grade teacher had a hard name and he knew already that I couldn’t pronounce it. So one day I tried my hardest to say it but he stopped me and told me to call him Mr. C. One of the songs I can clearly remember was "Hey Ya!" That song was by outkast. And yes that is how you spell their band name.

The year 2005The year 2005 was the year of new beginnings. 6Th grade and I was moving on up. I was still at the same school but I had a different teacher her name was Mrs. Kirkland. She was the best teacher I ever had. my best friend was named Carrie Williams. Guess what? She was the bully of the school and she was my best friend. Well as you can already guess I didn’t have a lot of friends because she always ran them away. The movie that I liked that came out that year was "Hitch". The song that I loved that year was called "1,2step" by Ciara.
The year 2006
The new me and new school. I am now attending the MASE. When I first heard of this school I thought that this was going to be a boring school. Well I was wrong it was so much fun. I meet new friends and alot of haters. My best friensd was Dominique. Dominique and I had so much in common. The one movie that was good and i liked was "Medea Family Reunion". That movie was so funny.
The year 2007The time is passing and I am getting older. The thing I remember most about this year is 8th grade week. My whole 8th grade class had a week just for us. We went and alot of field trips and the best part about it was that we didnt have any work. Now thats the best day ever. The number on song back then on the charts was Rhianna "Please Dont Stop The Music". That song had you moving your feet and dancing everytime you heard it. And guess what? I still had the same best friend Dominique.
The year 2008
Moving on up to a new level. Well this year I can say was a important one. This was my first year of high school and I was fresh meat. I was a little nervous abut the whole high school thing but I soon got over it. The thing I could remember most is that I meet my best friend in the whole wide world Jessica. We are still friends to this day. I am glad I spent my first year with my best friend and we made it through and wasnt fresh meat anymore. WEHW!
The year 2009
I'm almost out of high school, well not quite yet. I am still at the same school but this time I was a sophmore. The one thing that stood out to me was that my class always got in trouble. I dont know what it was but it was like we loved getting in trouble. Everyday class of 2011 got in trouble. They saiud that we was and still is the worst class at mase. But no matter what people say one thing they cant say is that we dont have each other back. Thats the one thing I loved about my class we was always there for each other.
The year 2010
The year I am a junior and the year before I am a senior. This year is very special to me because its a sign telling me that I am almost out of here. I am about to go to college and do something with my life. I want to do more than what people expect me to do. I want to go beyond the stars and the moon. Do something people was afraid to do. Become the next president of the United States. My goals are so high and no one can bring me down. I am going to do bigger and better things in my life.
